Our Danube cruise - the new Viking Hlin

Viking Hlin

Our Danube cruises was on the new Viking Hlin. This is the only the third sailing, because it's maiden voyage earlier this month. Our embarkation point is Nuremberg, our destination is Budapest. We did not include the optional expansion in Prague before sailing.Although we stayed two extra nights in Budapest at the end of the cruise, we booked accommodation themselves. We also book travel themselves.

This is our second cruise river, so our expectation is that, maybe a little high, more specific than the first cruiser that. However, we are generally very pleased with the trip and tour.Where only a few negatives, all of which I will leave until the end, because they are far more positive offset.

The flow Hlin Comments: once a great chef (Reina) you seem to like his work. When we congratulated him for his meals, he immediately deflected praise, said: "We have a great team here!" Confirm who in his group who work. This is what I want to see any kind of personality and attitude context.

Most of the staff we encountered were very pleasant and professional. One confided that he worked in a number of other lines, both rivers and oceans, he felt it was the best Vikings.

In the tour was well organized, and our Program Director (Stein) and Concierge (Radi) were knowledgeable and helpful.Generally very well informed and professional guides. We signed the optional offset more than we had originally planned: BMW factory tour is a must see, and you should be level to enroll early due to a limited number of slots.Classical music in Vienna trip was pleasant, and the Hungarian Magyar horse parade is very different, surprisingly entertaining.
